NEUROMODULATORS
WHAT IS A NEUROMODULATOR?
Neuromodulators are a subset of neurotransmitters that alter the properties of certain neurons so that neurotransmission between them is changed. In essence, the neuromodulator tells the neurons at the site of injection to relax. These injections can take as little as 10 minutes and require no serious downtime. Pain is minimal, but the results are worth it. Not all neuromodulators are created equal, and some variations take longer to “kick in” than others. Do not feel discouraged when you don’t see immediate results!

DERMAL FILLERS
WHAT IS A DERMAL FILLER?
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin surface to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours. There is an extremely wide variety in ingredients used to develop the formula for these fillers. Fillers are generally categorized based on the primary component of their composition. Those categories include: Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA), Poly-L-lactic acid, and more.
