What is dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation to remove the vellous hairs (peach fuzz) from the face
to encourage cell turnover to reveal fresh, healthy and glowing skin. It can be done on all skin
tones and types, except active acne breakout.

Will my hairs grow back thicker or darker after dermaplaning?

Excellent question, but no, contrary to popular belief, the vellous hairs are not like other hair on
our face (like our eyebrows, which are “terminal” hairs) so they will not grow back thicker or
darker.

How often can I get dermaplaning?

It takes about 30 days for the skin cells to regenerate, so we recommend every 4 weeks for
optimal results. A series of 6 treatments is recommended to see the best results.

What kind of results can I expect?

You can expect an immediate glow to your skin looking freshly exfoliated and hydrated from the Dermaplane facial treatment.
